Advice before editing this pre-1700 Cannon profile?

It appears that Cannon-2733 is the daughter of Cannon-3377.  For a couple of decades, I've had the set of "Dashiell Family Records" by Benjamin J. Dashiell.  My Profile is Drew-2083 and I am Pre-1700 Certified.  Ann (Cannon) Dashiell (Cannon-2733) is one of my 9th-great-grandmothers and Edward S. Cannon (Cannon-3377) is my 10th great-grandfather.  How can they be joined?

Edit -> Add Father -> Type in Cannon-3377. Simples!

THANKS; however, so far, it's the only answer.  Another problem is that I do not recognize the mother.  All sources that I've seen only have her as "Ann."  So, how to I connect to simply the father?
