  •  Thomas A Brewer (1874-1935) and Ellen Virginia Crumley Brewer (1879-1946)  are parents of Mildred, according to her findagrave memorial

So does anyone know if Sarah Evelyn Brewer Girtman is also their child? These are Arkansas folks. all from around Cave City, in Sharp County.

Thomas Brewer had a little sister born and died in 1880, named Sara. This might explain how Sarah Evelyn Brewer  got her name.

I remember these ladies when they were living. I don't trust my memory to be able to say for sure if they were siblings. There is another named Clarene Brewer, but I have not looked for her yet.

Looking in the census records, I see no child for Thomas A Brewer that is listed as Sarah.
It occurs to me, that Sarah Evalyn Brewer Girtman was known to us all, as Eva or "Evie", as most pronounce names with an ie sound when it ends in A (in the south, anyway!), so maybe a census might list her that way. Thanks for looking!

There is a T A Brewer mentioned in the obituary for Sarah Evelyn's daughter Clarice Elwanda Girtman Dickey -- but I have no idea what the relationship is because I don't have access to the obit.  Clarice died and was buried in Cave City.

I cannot see the site information since I am not a member and don't like to sign in for temporary use then have to back out later. If you have information, please add or email me. I am not a close relative, but Mildred Brewer was married to my husband's uncle, Chester Ervin Landers. I do remember her. I also remember  Sarah Evalyn (Evie is what we called her) since she was married to my great uncle Orville Girtman.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.
Familysearch.org is a free site.  They do ask you to create a username and a password, but there is no charge to use it.  Mildred's profile on Wikitree is privacy protected, not open.  If it was open, anyone could add sources to it.
After several visits to Family Search, WikiTree, Findagrave, etc. and looking at census, I realized that Eva's oldest children would have been born before 1930 census, so finally just now found the 1910 census with Thomas and Jenny (Ellen Virginia) Brewer's family on it, and there is Eva Brewer Girtman as well as several others,  I was not sure were siblings, listed! Thanks for pointing me to this handy tool!
You're welcome, Cathy.  I'm glad it worked out for you.  And thank you for selecting my answer.
