says deceased is an active wikitree user? [closed]

Question

I was trying to add my gg grandfather on the cochran side, I know for certain dates are correct I have census records from ancestry. Anyways it tells me I can't add them because they are an active wikitree user and are living. What's my work around here, I know my information is correct and this person isn't living how do I add them.

Did you try to add an email address?

The email field is only if you are adding a living relative and want to invite them to WikiTree.

I don't believe i clicked their email address, but once i added birth and death locations it worked! Thank you
