Many thanks!

Are we able to create our own anchor?

You are very welcome, Stephen.

There are three "Connection Anchors", two of them are changed every week.

Queen Elizabeth II was removed when the WikiTree profile for her became "unlisted" because of the GDPR

The way I do it is if I suspect that a connection is close to ten degrees, I enter the wikitree-ID of one of my ancestors, usually my great grandparents (whichever one I think is going to be closest to the person in question)

Then if a connection comes up, I can just add however many steps I am away from the ancestor I chose.  In the case of my great grandparents, I would add an extra 3 steps, because I'm 3 degrees away from them.
