Hi. I work at Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn, and during a walk this afternoon, I happened upon the gravestone Florence Ianthe Vernon Griffith. I was intrigued, because the word writer is inscribed below her date of death. I see thatShe’s a Vassar graduate, which is kind of great because we have to Vassar graduates on my staff here.

I see that you have her listed in a different cemetery. Unless her body was reinterred from Green-Wood, and we can check the records on that, she’s Buried here right near the main entrance of Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn. Feel free to contact me if you need more information. We have lots of archival documents on every burial here. Lisa_alpert@Green-Wood.com.
