Diane, here is an example from my own grandmother's profile:
Ruth Violet Lenore (Herling) Ranck (1919 - 2007)
The couple had 4 children, three who survived to adulthood:
lol, and don't forget all the Leblanc, Lenoir, Leroux...........
Bob, It's been a while since I've participates and I just finished my first new one and plan to do more before the month is out. Do I just add them here as I do them and edit this comment? Done so far: 1) Nicholas White Sr. - arrived in Massachusetts in 1643
LOL . . . this could be fun! I wonder whether I can find someone named Magenta! After working on a Beige family and running into a paucity of sources, I remembered a whole line named Swartz. Slow going for three days of research on one profile.
1. Jennettie (Head) White
2. Martha J. (White) Chase
3. Minnie Flora (Swartz) Rohrbach
I'll do this one! Should be able to find some Whites and Greens, maybe a few LeBlancs too.
I am quite sure I have none in my tree; I will cast my net wider this month.
Watchlist color free - casting a wider net... selected the "Blue" family at random; found an interesting name to create a profile and develop: Lael Zann Blue.
Done:

I think I'll be able to add a few for my Grandma White's family. By the way, how could someone born in the 1980s possibly witness something that occurred in the life of someone who died in 1952?
I created a space page because I'm having trouble locating information on some of this White family. It records what is missing for each record and where I've searched.
I'll do a few. I have some Whites and Browns.
thanks for the laugh

Great theme for the challenge. I'll be working on my White and Black lines this month.
1. Henry Charles White - my 2x great-grandfather. Alas, this one's still a brick wall w/ regard to his parentage, but I've come a long way from having nothing more than his name at this time last year.
2. Edwin Bienvenu White - Henry's youngest son, born 6 months after Henry's death. This challenge reminded me that I'd wanted to dig around and find out what happened to Edwin after he was orphaned. Found it!
3. Harry Caldwell White - Another from the same White family. Another time I wished the 1890 Census hadn't been destroyed.
4. Lafayette Dancy White - Continuing with the White family. Didn't realize until this week that I had a notorious narcotics cop / CIA guy just hanging out on my Watchlist (not this guy, but his son -- bio to come).
5. Virginia R. White - Still on this California White family. Wish I could find more about Virginia's whereabouts past 1940.
6. Maj. Bernard J. Black - My third great grandfather. Civil War soldier turned architect.
I'm a bit late to this as i was searching and couldn't find it (so I carried on working on last months ones as some still need something extra lol) I remember doing a colour one before so will try to find a different colour - I think I have plenty to choose from: White, Brown and Green are my obvious ones, but will see if I have anymore unusual ones! I just realised I have Pinks in my tree but they are quite far back in time.
