Im confused and need help clearfing who's who

Hello I'm really confused on who's who when it comes to Sarah "Sally" Barnes. (Barnes-311) I see that her parents on here is Elias Barnes (Barnes-445)

I also see a Sarah "Sally" Barnes as the daughter of Gilmer Richard Barnes (Barnes-1011)

I'm trying to see which one really married William Sims

On Elias's page it has a that Richard Barnes is her father but on here is states that Elias is her father.

my ancestor is the Sarah Sally Barnes who married Randolph Sims I think that his name was really William Randolph Sims. the reason for this is that in marriage records it has her married to William Sims.

The Sims and Barnes family is very confusing and I'm trying to fix all my mistakes that i have made in the past. Any help would be very great full.

Her profile states that Elias Barnes is her brother. Gilmer Richard Barnes is the father of both of them.

Your first step would be to find some sources. Then you have to evaluate how reliable the sources are to determine the information you want to know.

There is also a Sarah Barnes who is the daughter of Elias barena so I'm still trying to rule out who's who. So it is very confusing when there is two Sarah (Sally) Barnes. On my family tree it states Elias as father. I have not been able to find any reference to who is who
