Advice before adding child of this pre-1700 Squire profile?

I can add a child to the profile of John Squire. This is who I can add :Recompence Squire

These are the sources I am using:

•  Records of the town of East Hampton, Long Island, Suffolk Co., N.Y., by Hedges, Henry Parsons.

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding? Thank you!

If your looking for a type of validation regarding this specific individual, the folloing link is a pdf document i just uploaded thats called "History & Genealogy of the Famlies of Old Fairfield"...

... take note at the top paragraph on the last page that mentions this individual amongst other family members.  
 
FIY... I had cut the publication down to only a few pages (as the original is over 700 pages)...

I surely looked at Families of Old Fairfield like you said but  I would like you to look at the page 577 and see that John Squire, s. of George, settled in Easthampton, L.I. and is said to have married Ann Edwards, dau of William Edwards.  This is his will and names his dau Ann Squire.
