Wilkinson-9244 , I have his father as Samuel, but that is surmised from the names of his children . I have documentation saying William was a shoemaker and his son Joseph was also confirmed to be a shoemaker.

There is so little on the profile that makes it hard to know. Familysearch.org has a number of records for a few William Wilkinson’s. Maybe you can find the answer there. It is a free site.
