Is there a keyboard shortcut to switch between edit mode and view mode?

For long profiles it would be very beneficial to have a keyboard shortcut that would allow you to switch between edit mode and web page view mode, without having to scroll to the top or bottom of the profile.   It would also be exceedingly beneficial for this switch to hold your place in the text when switching between edit and view, and then to have another keyboard shortcut to save your work.  This would allow proofreading and editing without losing your place in the manuscript.  This may already exist, if so can someone please identify the keystrokes?

I would not object to knowing about such a keyboard shortcut, control key+whatever, no doubt but whether I'd succeed in employing it could be doubted ... The only shortcut I've CONSISTENTLY found is the oft repeated blunder I make where I end up looking at blank screen (new tab) with no clues whatsoever about how I did this ... I am learning to approach my keyboard defensively

Don't know of any.  Scrolling down to 'Preview' will at least keep your edits before you save.

Yes! The Preview button at the bottom is the best.. you can click that thing repeatedly until you are ready to save!
