Thank you!  This book is where I first came across the connection (cousins) of the Fish family and the Rice family.  Would love to find out if anyone on here is related to that line.  This Fish family has a cousin, Judson E. Rice, whom I believe to be related to the earlier mentioned Polly Rice Fish.  I also came across the fact that the Clements Library at the University of Michigan has letters written by Judson E. Rice to one of their children's children and the biography noted that Judson was a cousin to this family. I would love to learn who Polly Rice's family is.
Another option for search is to google "wayne county, New York, History" and that is very fruitful in terms of multiple websites for exploration

And I expect you have also explored www.familysearch.org for Isaac Fish and Polly Rice?

Janet, there was nothing in the newspapers about Polly Fish except an excerpt from a published story involving fishing.  Nor Isaac Fish.  However there is a treasure trove of Harry Fish.  The first, and only one I looked at told about an accident he was involved with.  Check out the following site, (search), use Wayne County and his name and a range of years from 1811 to 1950 like I did.  You may find something useful for you.

Edited  Didn't check Isaac Fish first, only Polly Fish.  Went back and found Isaac  .
