I'm looking at familysearch.org extracts of early 18th-century German births and christenings for the children of Benedict Sailer/Seyller/ in Ittlingen and would like to know what girl's  name might have been transcribed "Cunigunda". The URL of the familysearch record is https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:NRG9-HRQ.  I currently have profiles for two other children of Benedict and will be adding profiles for him and the other children.

Kunigunde is an old Germanic feminine name that has been in occasional use since the Middle Ages. Behind the Name says that St. Kunigunde was the wife of a Holy Roman Emperor.

Well, I should not have been so lazy! In truth, however, I have never in all my 40 years of genealogy - including a dozen or so early German-American families - have I ever seen a name even remotely like Cunigunda.
The Hungarian (and Polish) form is Kinga, which has been in Hungary's top 100 most common given names for the past 50 years or more.

I've attached a screenshot of Cunigunda's baptism entry to her father Benedict (currently Unknown) Seiler's page.
Thanks very much J.   It's great to have an image of the original.
