Well, I'd suggest tackling the D.A.R. websites. Or trek to your local LDS FHC and see what they can gather up on the D.A.R. for you to browse. That's one way to discover. S.A.R. is another source, not as prolific as the D.A.R. however .

His profile does say he served in the Military.

AND if he hasn't been conflated with another Nathaniel Davies or Davis that Military service might well have been in the RW.

There are currently 3 Nathaniel Davis born in 1750.  None of them have any primary sources. All have different spouses

This particular Nathaniel Davis is not listed in the DAR ancestor index. That, by itself, does not mean that he was not a revolutionary war patriot. Perhaps none of his descendants ever applied for DAR membership.

Nathaniel's profile has no information about military service of any kind. What is in the source that supports the information in this profile, or what does it add about military service?
