What should I do if I propose a merge (these are obviously the same people) and the manager rejects the merge?

Best to probably leave a question for the profile manager, perhaps he has seen a problem or accidently rejected it.  Any way this would be the first step. If the profile is over 200 - 300 years old see instructions for next step. See Wikitree Honor Code and Collaboration. Contact a supervisor. Attempt to resolve first.
