Hi, Phil!  Welcome to WikiTree.  Feel free to ask questions, that's how we all learned the ropes.

I have a family of Pepperells from Aveton Gifford, Devon.

John Pepperell was born about 1811 in Charleton; he married Elizabeth Edgcombe on 27 November 1835 in AG, and they had (at least) Maria 1842, John 1745, Jane 1847, and Louisa 1850.

Must confess I have not researched this family yet.  They are very distant relatives.

Hi Ros,

Thank you the info. I checked my current TNG database and did not have your ancestors logged. I will check my spreadsheets tomorrow.

Hi Phil,

Welcome to Wickitree where there is no such thing as a stupid question!

If you don't understand what someone said, and need it rephrased a different way or can't remember how to do something just ask!

Once again Welcome to Wiki!

Welcome to WikiTree, Phil! Glad to have you here. Most of us remember being new to the Tree, so don't be shy. There's always something going on around here, so if you see something that looks interesting, ask someone and they can help you out. We're a pretty friendly bunch most days.

Hi, Phil. I thought I'd add in my greetings to let you know that my ONS is also registered with the Guild (Beasley Surname Study). I see there is no Pepperrell study at WikiTree. If you'd like to consider establish one here, you can do so by visiting this G2G link: https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/860306/name-studies-project-request-your-2019-name-study-here-current

You need to be an active member for a month and make 100 contributions before starting an ONS.

In the meantime, you might want to talk to Munro: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Pepperell_Family_Mysteries
