just found out that half siblings of Catron-213 aren't even related to him. what do i do now?

FamilySearch has John W. Catron as a son of Thomas A. Catron and Cassie Vitatoe.  FamilySearch also list both marriages for Thomas A. Catron - 1st wife Theodocia "Docia" Owens (1868-1893) married 24 Feb. 1884,  and Cassie Vitatoe (1877-1954) married 28 Sept. 1893.  There are no sources for the marriages.  You will need to do research in the records such as, census, death certificates for the children should list their parents, estate records of the parents, etc. to determine if the children listed are correct.  Find A Grave is not a good source to rely on for accurate information and should be used only as a possible source for other places to look for records.

Then they shouldn't share the same father?

Did the father not have two wives, as currently indicated?

To fix it, a new profile would have to be created for the half-siblings and his other wife.

I thought he had married twice but records show now that that's not the case. I looked at both parties findagrave memorials and neither has the other as a partner, even the parents don't show john catron as a sibling or half...

well, find-a-grave records don't prove anything. anyone could connect/disconnect them on find-a-grave.

Find a grave isn't the most reliable source for who was married to whom, speaking from experience. More research over in the archives of familysearch.com might well turn up certificiates of marriages, divorces, death records and etc
