Hello, i found a old birth certificate, i think, it is marked Stuttgart 1904 april 4, one name i can make out is the father Jakob Hofmann. I can scan it to a pdf and send it to you. I can not make out the rest of the writing. Mother may be Elzabeth Christine Sanwald? Father is Jakob (middle) Hofmann then looks like Zimm(7 letters i can''t make out). Name on top is Elsa? Ellen? Maybe someone can do better decoding the handwriting. and I will send you the pdf file. Would like to mail this to someone who has them in their family.

Bob, first please edit your question and remove your email address.  We don't encourage posting of any contact information here because it is a public forum, therefore likely to draw spam.

None of the names rings a bell with me, but if you email me the pdf file, I will arrange to post it here and ask for members who have expertise in reading handwriting and also understand German to try to interpret it.  If we can locate a family member, we can put them in touch with you.

Since I have your email address now, I will write to you so that you have mine, in order to send me the file.

Thank you for making this effort - I'm sure that someone out there will be very grateful to you.

I can't see how to email you direct. Edit, ok, i got the email and the pdf file has been sent, thanks very much.

THANX, Bob - I got your pdf, extracted the image, enhanced it, saved it as a jpg file, uploaded it to WikiTree, and finally posted a question HERE asking for help from members who are handwriting and German language experts.

For the record, you can contact any member here by clicking their name to get to their profile page, where there will be a link to send them a private message, which will not reveal their address but will reveal your address to them so that they can respond to establish communication.
