Im looking for Thompson Bowen Bday jun 1818 or 1830 may have been a free black or former slave. Mother was said to have worked on Bowen Plantation and fathered children by the owner by the name of bowen. this thompson would have left to move to kansas but lived in illinois for a time with a Zachariah Bowen. any matches would help he is said to have been born in Russell Virginia thanks
