Is anyone else related to Carolyn Sue Jones?

Carolyn Jones and  I are both directly descended from John Seaman and we are 10th cousins.  However, there are 21 steps between us.

Looks like my steps are down to 20 - I did some updates to her connections, but I'm not sure if that's what changed it. Could be someone else was also doing some updates too. Either way, nice to shorten the path. :)

10th cousins, common ancestor is Donnock Dennis of Somerset County, Maryland; connection finder shows 20 degrees through a non-blood relationship.

I had no idea until I asked the Relationship Finder that Carolyn Jones and I are a cozy 11th cousins once removed. Our common ancestor is Thomas Moore - Moore 806 of Salem Massachusetts, 1565-1636. There are some Quaker ancestors, Lamb and Gardners mainly, in the line also.

I find this interesting since when I was much younger more than one person told me I looked like her.

It looks like I'm the winner here, at least so far! It seems that "Morticia Addams" and I are 6th cousins once removed. Our most recent common ancestors are John Stanley and his wife Hannah Freeman of colonial Massachusetts.

And Connection Finder shows that we are just 14 steps apart.

As a child I was a big fan of the Addams Family TV show.

I looked and we're 9th cousins once removed, both descended from Francis Billington. It's interesting to find distant ancestors and distant relatives I never knew about!

20 steps or degrees of separation. Carolyn Jones and I are 16th cousins twice removed. Her 15th great grandfather was my 17th great grandfather. Throckmarton married Vaughn, Vaughn married Havard, Havard married Awbrey, and Awbrey eventually made it's way to the colonies, and the Virginia tidewater area.
