I can't find this persons's parents.  If anyone has a clue, please share or add to her profile.  I've looked here and on familysearch and can't place her with a family until she married into the Dungan family.

Thanks!

Here is a Nancy McGill born 1834; Father William McGill and mother Lexy. Living in Rankin County, MS in 1850. Could this be her?

"United States Census, 1850," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:M4LF-G56 : 29 October 2019), Nancy Mcgill in household of William Mcgill, Rankin county, Rankin, Mississippi, United States; citing family 637, NARA microfilm publication M432 (Washington, D.C.: National Archives and Records Administration, n.d.).

That's probably her.  Right year, right state, and right name!  TY

And more evidence that this is the right person.  The William McGill that is the father in this census is buried in the county where she married.
Glad I could help. If they stayed in Rankin County any length of time maybe you can find more records. Several nearby counties had record losses. Good luck!!
