Once you become a full member, and have created your profile with your surname at birth (this is called LNAB = last name at birth) then your ID will be surname-number

If you look at my ID, mine is Thompson-31031

Thompson is my maiden name even though I am better known here on Wikitree as Robynne Lozier. Lozier is of course my married name.

This ID is always yours - surname at birth and a number. And it becomes part of the Wikitree URL. When you need to copy and paste, you only need to copy the (surname dash number) part of the url, not the whole thing.

And as for finding ID's you just need to replace your own ID with anyone else's ID for whom you wish to see their home profile.

But you must volunteer to become a full member first.

Hope this helps.

PS if you were named as anonymous, when you posted this question, you were not logged in.

Apparently your ID is Verdier-82.
