Bernard McMahon married Ann Shields at St. Francis Xavier, Manhattan, New York on 3 November 1889. Bernard was the son of Patrick McMahon and Cath McErnany and Ann was the daughter of Michael Shields and Bridget Kenedy. The witnesses were Bernard Riley and Mary Harkins.
