In addition to all of the great things Aleš has done with his WikiTree+ tool, did you know that he also published a WikiTree+ extension for Google Chrome?
The extension, created in a moment of sheer brilliance, allows you to quickly (and easily) add templates to a Category page - even by those who are intimidated by some of the large and complex templates!
Don't believe me? Check this out!
After installing the WikiTree+ Extension, you will see a new button on the Edit page of a category:
Now you can unlock the power of the extension just by hovering over the button! In this example, I have navigated through the WikiTree+ button, and have selected a template:
Once I click on the template I want to add (in this case, the Cemetery CategoryInfoBox), I can input as much data as I know on the resulting form:
(Red items are required, green is preferred, yellow is optional)
Then all I have to do is hit "Update Changes" and watch the magic happen - a fully formatted template!
The tool even goes a step further to make sure a change summary is added, so all you have to do next is hit save!
Ready to try it out for yourself? Head over to the Google Chrome Store and get your own WikiTree+ Chrome Extension!
