Seeking X Crosby, husband of Susan Compton Crosby, circa 1850 - 1889

Question

Susan was my great grandmother, b. March 8, 1849, in Pennsylvania with the maiden name Compton.   My grandfather John and great aunt Margaret were twins born in 1888.  We know that Susan was their biological mother.  We believe Susan and X Crosby were married and that he was their biological father, but we have no documentary evidence of the marriage or paternity.  In the 1890 census, Susan was described as a widow living in California and In 1892, Susan remarried.. Family lore has it that X Crosby died in Colorado, but again we have no documentary evidence.

was you grandfather on mother side,and grandfather on father side.And do

you have any dates and where lived.Also need Grandmother both sides with

there maiden names.If you have,otherwise just first names.Not saying you are

wrong,but i sense a problam.
