Merge Gone Wrong on Margaret V Hunt

Question

I'm not sure how this happened but a merge had been proposed and completed without being corrected. Now Margaret V Hunt is born almost 50 years after her marriage and birth of her son John Matthews. I can't follow the link to Ancestry.

The Ancestry link does not work and it is to a user submitted tree anyway. Unfortunately, a merge cannot simply be undone. All the relationships and dates have to be entered manually.

Thanks for letting me know it was to a user submitted tree. I'm going to try to fix the mess.

I've also found that the current death place is also blatantly wrong. I checked the vital records for Marlborough, MA (where her son settled) and her death is not recorded there. I also checked Southborough, MA (many of the Matthews are also recorded there) and no death record for Margaret under Hunt or Matthews.

Marlborough, NH used on the profile wasn't even in existence until 1752. Wiki information on Marlborough, NH.

That is one of the problems for those that rely on Ancestry.com. They use modern place names in their suggestions.
