Need sysops to fix system glitch [closed]

Joanne Trafford's profile shows her having two husbands, both named John Booth.  The John Booth profiles were duplicates and were merged at least a year ago.  However, they show up as separate profiles and thus result in the children being shown as half-siblings.  Could someone figure out how to fix this?  Thank you!

Darlene, in looking at it, in my opinion I think the 2 different marriage dates make it appear she married the same man twice. Since they are merged, I think it would just be a matter of disconnecting one, and the problem would be fixed.
Rodney, the problem is that there AREN'T two separate profiles.  They were merged.  The problem is that it appears that there are two separate profiles.  Clicking on either profile takes you to the same (merged) profile.  However, the children are showing up as half-siblings, as I mentioned.  It's definitely a glitch.
Since you changed one of the marriage dates, where do you see them showing as half siblings? I see his brothers and sisters are showing as half.
When you go to the "remove spouse" section, on the wife, it shows two IDs, the final ID and the merged-away ID, and you can remove the merged-away ID.  It's been done now though.
Thanks, RJ.

I took the daring step of removing Booth-534 as spouse. It looks like it worked. (?)

It's the usual method to resolve these cases of doppelganger profiles - disconnect and reconnect - but I see no reason for reconnecting here.

Awesome!  Thanks, Isabelle!!
Darlene, the problem is a very long-standing item on the "to-do list".  Sometimes everything works fine when merges are done, but other times the links to the merged-away profile still remain on related profiles after the merge.  If you click the link, it will correctly re-direct to the resulting profile, though, same as the correct link does.  The work-around (until they ever get around to fixing the software problem) is to disconnect the merged-away profile on any profiles that it still shows as a "ghost".
