Zelema Ware is the daughter of confederate Civil war veteran James M. Ware and Susan Ann Fletcher. She married William Towles Parker

1. We have the obituary of both her and husband  we need help updating profile properly

2. We have her marriage record but the two dates is the 27th and 28th what do we use? Also how to better cite the source of marriage as there was no link per say for the record as was found searching page after page in folder

3. Need death record

4. Needs a bio

5. Needs cemetery category added for her https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/28030534/zelema-parker none available on wikitree for this cemetery yet

Any genealogy help to improve her profile would be greatly appreciated

Thank you wikitree  family

Just an FYI that Mississippi death records are not public, but you can order a copy of a death certificate for genealogical purposes from the Mississippi Department of Health.

That’s good to know for this Mississippi family. Thank you

I've also noticed that the first name "Zelema" had a variation earlier in her life as "Selima" that should be taken into account when searching for records.

This is very common for older records...

In addition to the first name, I also noticed that the Middle Name of "Misha" was used earlier in her life that seemed to have disappeared in many records as she got older.

This can be common as well and should also be taken under consideration. She may have been born with a middle name that just wasn't used as she got older with her family members either not using it and/or forgotten about it and/or just didn't know it/wasn't aware of it.

I hope this was helpful in some way for you and good luck! :-)

Thank you!!!!

Helps shed light on the person and her story.
It was my pleasure! :-)

When i had performed a quick search on Ancestry, those results popped up fairly quickly.

I'm happy to see that it helped you out. Sometimes it takes a little something to provide clarity to overcome being stuck.

The 27th is the date the marriage license was issued.  Image of the license is on FamilySearch.  The images aren't indexed but it's on image #457
