Is anyone else more closely connected to Fred Rogers than I am?

I am 19 degrees from Fred Rogers through my Sturgill family.  Is anyone more closely connected to him than that?

not me--I'm 26 degrees and had to go back to 1713 to accomplish that!  Surprisingly few marriages, however!

Just added another connection - this one by marriage, so it won't affect blood relationships, but there's an outside chance it might affect someone's path. Unlikely, but you never know. If you had a long-distance connection you might check tomorrow after the links update tonight.

I AM Fred Rogers albeit not the one you are interested in. I descend directly from both Thomas and Joseph Rogers who sailed on the Mayflower in  1620. They were aboard the Speedwell and when it was decided that she was not seaworthy enough (too leaky) to make the voyage they joined other separatists on the Mayflower. Thomas died the first winter  and Joseph carried the name on along with other family members who came after 1620.
