Any Donner researchers?

Anyone interested in the Donner name? I have a genealogy of the Donners (Friederich and Friedericka) immigrated to the US in 1862 from Pomerania and settled in New York compiled by Henry F. and Harold L. Donner in 1980, mostly just names and dates, some pictures and some ancillary newspaper clippings, obits, etc. They are not my family and I do not have the time to research it. Happy to hand it off to anybody interested. Obviously not Donner Party related, though.

I have done some work on the Donner Party descendants, but very little on their ancestry, as I have a connection (but not relationship) through the husband of my niece who is a descendant of a member. This is an interesting aspect of California history.

The descendants of most of the families are not too hard to trace, although a couple are somewhat difficult. The hired men, typically single, who survived are much harder. They seem to have drifted into obscurity leaving little trace.
