You might want to look at one place studies.  I've done a one place study of my town, which I started by looking at families from the first census of the area, and trying to learn about them.  For some of them, I've made Wikitree profiles.  In some ways, it's a massive and ridiculous project; in others, it's fun and satisfying.  You can start with either the Tennessee Project: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Tennessee Here's the Knox County page: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Knox_County%2C_Tennessee and on that page you can see that no one has done a specific profile on Rocky Hill. But you can take a look at others which have been done and maybe see if you can help with one of them to learn more about Wikitree.

Thank you so much! Ridiculous and huge undertaking but definitely worth it for preservation purposes.

You can check the Rocky Hill Cemetery, started in 1891., for some of the oldest family names of the area..

Thank you. I found many mistakes in that list. I am related to most of them. The list is in desperate need of updating as I have contacted the man that runs the cemetary. I wonder how I could help update the list with correct dates and new names. Only rocky hill families are buried in that cemetery.
Mistakes?  I know they surveyed it 3 times so if dates are off then it must be wrong or missing on headstone. Yes ,it needs updating, but not many people want to walk and record each headstone, which is what is done with the surveys..
