Looking for more Seymour family history

My name is Montana Seymour and I am trying to find out as much about my dad's side of the family as I can. All I know is My dad's name is Mark Seymour and his father's name was Chuck. Not sure if that is short for Charles or what. Sorry it's vague but it's all I have.

A good place to start are the US Census records. These are available through Ancestry.com-- either through a subscription or many libraries offer free access. Start working backwards from the most recent census (1940). Keep in mind that "Chuck" was likely a  nickname for Charles.

It would also help to know where your father was born, his age, where your grandfather was born, his age, and also info on your mother and grandmother.
