I have a ancestor that where the only birth information I have is on a index card. Most of the information appears misaligned, bunched at the top leaving actual headings blank. The top left corner says Sussex co., The top center says Births. The top right has references:, directly under that it says Sussex Co.Chan. Beneath that it says Case W #18. Far left it says Name: Kersey , Ebenezer ( of Quakertown, Lewes and Rehobeth Hd). Directly under the name with out being on a line with a heading , it says Carpenter. Far left, new line-headings, it says, parents: it is blank. Beneath it says: birth: c. 1810. All other headings are blank for place:, race:,sex:,living:,Fathers trade:, nationality. The 1850 census has him as age 39 , living in Lower Dublin, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania . Birth place Delaware.occupation is ship carpenter . Another index card looks more pulled together , it has Delaware Marriage Record at center top and references Vol . 56 pg 255 license is exed. Event April 30,1835 married Jane Brereton At Tent, New Castle, Delaware . The next 1870 census has him living with his family at his recently wed daughter Ester Disbrow residence Trenton,ward 6 Mercer, age 60 . There is no death record. I need more information on the geography as well, Quakertown and lower Dublin Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
