William Henry Becker, served in CW

William Henry Becker served in the 166th Company D Infantry from York Pennsylvania. He served as a private in Company C who was mustered out and then as a Lt in Company D.  Any information about family appreciated.

According to a posting on GenForum, William Henry Becker (Baker), b. 7/8/1840 York PA. Parents could be Peter Baker and Salley Henry. Served in Civil War in 166th PA Infantry, Company C as private and Company D as Lt. Wife was Rebecca.

Thanks, Patrick.  Unfortunately that is my posting and I would like some confirmation.  As I have discovered, the William son of Peter and Sally apparently did not serve in the war; at least it is not indicated on his headstone and relatives of Sally cannot confirm.  Still looking.
