I have been told that his parents were Thomas Mayberry and elizabeth Sanky but have no documentation as to this. I Thomas died in 1852 don't knw about Elizabeth know hJohn J  married Margaret  and they had sev children including my great grandfather Valentine Boyd,. BYe 1860 family was in Jackson County. Iowa. Valentine Boyd as a young man moved and lived in died in Cass County Iowa None of the Children of John J and Margaret were named Thomas or Elizabeth which also makes me question if John J was indeed their son.

In the 1870 in John J house was a Martha Mayberry age 72 who was Martha ?

Possible links to my Mayberry would be surnames Anderson , Jameson and Smith. I believe my Mayberry traces  back to the Mayberry in or near cumberland Mercer County and Mifflin county  Don't know any more heres hoping someone can help. Yesca_L@yahoo.com
