Moses Lee (b. 1762, MD) - Help ID'ing Father

Good afternoon! I've been attempting to find confirmation about the patrilineage of my 4th great-grandfather, Moses Lee. When I started out on Ancestry.com last year, other trees listed his father as John James Lee, Sr. (b. 1710 in MD), and John's father as Phillip Corbin Lee, Esq. (b. 1681) and so on and so forth. As I've progressed in my genealogy journey and have now joined WikiTree, I'm trying to be more thorough in my research and wanting better and more concrete confirmation about my ancestors.

While sources do show that Phillip Corbin Lee had a son named John, I'm trying to determine if this is the same John as allegedly had a son named Moses. And, indeed, if Moses' father was named John after all. Aside from this website and Ancestry.com, I'm not sure where I ought to start for reliable research, or if anyone here might already know this information.

Considering that Moses Lee did not already have an existing profile on WikiTree, and at present Phillip Corbin's son John doesn't have the one apart from the one I created, asking this question of the community may be a longshot, but I wanted to try.

Thank you in advance!

John Lee, son of Philip Lee, did not have a son named Moses; he left a will naming his children (viewable here) and there is no son Moses named in the will. He also did not have a middle name. It is highly unlikely that Moses Lee (born according to his Wikitree profile in New Jersey) is the son of John Lee. This can be confirmed if you can find a known male descendant of Moses Lee to take a Y-DNA test--the Y-DNA haplogroup of the Lees of Virginia is I-M253, confirmed by a 42 out of 43 marker match between a male-line descendant of Richard Lee II and a male-line descendant of Hancock Lee, whose closest relationship to each other was 7th cousins twice removed.
