George Archer travelled to Maryborough Qld 1878 with wife Anna Archer  steam assisted sailing ship "Glamis" searching for confirmation of maiden name Anna Archer nee Curtis. She died after arrival buried Marybough Church of England of Enteritis. George Archer their way was paid worked on Cooktown to Laura small gauge Railway Link.

Hi Anonymous,

I'm guessing they sailed from the U.K. given the Church of England burial. If that is the case you should be able to find the record of their sailing at the National archives http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/

From that you should get clues to help you search for their records.
