How can you add a powerpoint presentation to wikitree

I have had a look and can find no information on how to upload a powerpoint presentation (.ppt) to enable others to use, edit in the future.

There are links to Youtube videos and PDF's of slide shows but no actual .ppt

Any information or suggestions would be useful to Ole and other ambassadors or future speakers looking to promote wikitree

No, I believe WikiTree only supports image formats, including pdf. (but PDF only displays an Acrobat icon, and no image itself)

So, you could export the PowerPoint slides to a PDF.

Perhaps you can put it in a file share location like Dropbox and then share the link to the file?

I would guess that ability for members who have developed powerpoint presentations about WikiTree is something that management would be very desirous of providing the ability to share with other members looking for such visual aids when they act in the role of ambassadors.

Although we can only upload image files and pdf files to pages here, WikiTree could put powerpoint files on their server and make a page with links to download them.  If they provide an email address where a member who has a powerpoint file that they're willing to share can send the file and, after they approve it, they can add it to the list.

Perhaps that would be a good suggestion to make, but it should come from a member of the ambassadors, rather than me.
