Can you help me improve this profile and connect Michael Ebermann to the ship they came over on?

I'm just reading up on how to improve profiles so this one could use some help, I know. The other question has to do with the complex issue of how to connect Michael with his (previously supposed) father [[Eberman-27| Hans Michael Eberman]]. The family history is clear and has come down on handwritten scraps of paper--the Evermans of Kentucky are direct descendants of Michael Ebermann who was a Palatinate immigrant. (no, alas, I don't possess any of those handwritten family histories) But as I began the WT process of connecting my ancestor to this immigrant Michael, things got complicated. If you read the profile, there is more info there on the conundrum.

Also, for profile improvement; I think I added the Category of Palatine Migration, but is something supposed to show up on the finished profile? Or should I have added a template?

Thank you, Rebecca

Hi Rebecca, I have added the 1850 US Census to the profile of Elijah.  May I suggest that you create profiles for the children and spouses and siblings as you work back in time. You may find that there are already some on WT which could be helpful. I'll see what else I can add.

As for the Category of Palatine Migration that you added, that does currently appear on the very last line at the of the profile.

Thank you--you have good eyes! I don't know why I can't see that! smiley

No problemsmiley

I only found the location of the Categories last week...I had been expecting a badge-type graphic so it wasn't obvious to me either.

Hi Rebecca,

contributed a few mostly cosmetic improvements, and embedded a link for his 1st son.

Merry Christmas!
