wanting help on the hill family from sydney australia my grandfather was william hill any help would be appreciated.

I live in New Zealand my grandmother was from the hill family, her mother's married name was Hill and they came from Inner Sydney area.  My grandmother  margorie joyce     (Which we thought was hill) was changed to Williamson we believe when she went to live with relatives in nz at a very young age.  I did have a copy of her birth certificate but no longer have it.  I believe the hill family I am talking about came from Ireland county Clair in 1800's to Australia.  I have started doing family ancestory on line I will give you my email address I hope we are talking about the same family it would be exciting to know if there is a connection.

i am also a hill,not related yet, but if you go to the openlibaray.org website and look under your william you will be able to download books all about your family,it a free site.
