first question I would ask is what country are they in? And is there a profile at WT for either of them?

William George Stewart lived in scotland for a time then dies in Canada in 1940 George Stewart I dont know about tho, I'm sure he was scotland at some point and died in scotland but not 100% on that one.

Ah, well open your question and edit / add the tags canada scotland and gedcom match

that will get you more attention -- I suggest that because I don't "do" gedcom

Secondly while you have your question OPEN for edit add the URL of william or george or whichever you have the profile FOR so folks can look at it and respond

Those are your first two steps, open the Q and add the tags and also add the WT URL for whichever one you have

Will do when I get round to finding out how to work this site dont even know where my GED tree and DNA are tbh
Thanks very much for your help

laughYou got a Greeter message and you can contact her for more instructions about How-To and ask her to if she will please assign a Mentor for tutoring

ALSO you will be directed to Help: and there IS a specific page which URL I do not have that tells folks the step by steps of WT ... someone mentioned it in a post in the last 60 days  if I recall might even have been the last 30 days ... ah, I found it, URL is below

WHILE you are waiting on a tutor LOL do up some more profiles -- parents, grandparents and the like but don't do more than another say 40 people, since you will want to put in useful sources other people can access (free) like material

THAT is a site I also recommend for GETTING sources you can proudly display LOL trust me on this I use them alllll the time -- copy and paste THEIR citation into the profile section SOURCES ...

Fast access to the WT pages like Help: can be googled, so try <wikitree, help, beginners> and when looking for something ON wikitree WITH google, always start with wikitree, -- that's a "filter" that will set a parameter for your search

A beginner's checklist - WikiTree G2G

Let's see, read carefully say 4x the page on beginner's to get the full impact of it, and then with any other questions you have g2g is HERE and SOMEONE will usually chime in

BE SURE to give the very fullest amount of info you have on any person / profile and the URL of the profile for a more comprehensive assistance

And WELCOME TO WIKITREE ... it's addictive exciting challenging and fun and there's a sense of achievement for gaining skills and in creation of profiles with good sourcing

Doesn't happen over night so take your time to experiment a bit to learn the ins and outs
