Looking for Alexander Norston Collins - born abt 1886 - died 15 Mar 1963 at Newtown, Wellington New Zealand

Also his father - Robert COLLINS who died at Donald McLean St, Newtown, Wellington, NZ on 30 Oct 1899 and was married to a Emily Jane. Also Alexander Norston Collins's wife - Evelyn Helen ( nee LUNDQUVIST ) born abt 1894 (birthplace unknown) and died on 27 Sept 1961 in Newtown, Wellington, NZ. That is all i know apart from Alexander had a son, Walter Roland Collins who was my father. Thanks if anyone can help. Bob Collins

On the New Zealand historical BDM indexes there is a birth registered in 1886 of an Alexander Yawson Collins, Father Robert & mother Emily Kate. You can order a birth certificate online. Select the $20.40 option and supply your email address and they will probably emailit to you. The spelling may be a transcribing error but the certificate will be the original entry.

Alternatively there is a marriage entry in 1872 of a Robert Collins to an Emily Kate Gorston. Prior to 1880 not a lot of info was given in marriage certs though.
