Am I doing something wrong importing my GEDCOM file?

Question

I have tried a couple times to import a GEDCOM file that I split from one received by my brother.

It has only 14 individuals so I started small.

I edited it so the names showed up on the match report (rather than the Unknown, Unknown that came up the first time, with names under GIVN__EN etc)
 

It has dates and not just names,

I've rejected the two matches that it suggested because they were wrong, and

I've skipped living people and my grandfather who I already made a profile for.

After I complete "Import approval" it goes back to saying Incomplete in about a day.

Is this a technical issue? has something been rejected and I've done something wrong?
I'm new to this so I'm trying to understand the issue.

Hello Ethan.  Thanks for joining WikiTree.com and for entering and uploading your information there.

I don't know the cause the particular experience you are having but wanted to suggest a couple of things.

First, have you read all the instructions at: Our GEDCOM Help page here?

Secondly, the wizard of GEDCOMs at WikiTree is Eowyn.  I'm sure she'll see this activity soon and be along to help.  Don't worry - it can take 48 to 72 hours to process a GEDCOM upload depending on traffic volume and some other factors.

I just checked your GEDCOM and it looked good so I went ahead and approved it. It will process through in the next batch, likely sometime in the next half hour or so, possibly sooner.  You'll get an email when the import is complete.

I am having the same issue.  It continues to go back to step 3 for my review after I've already approved the GEDCOM for the next step.
