Anglican Charles Willats of Kidmore End, Caversham (1727-1768) s/o Thomas Willats Esq. married Mary. ??? (abt 1727-1800) probably around 1748, unknown. Their eldest son was Thomas Fleetwood Willats (1749 - 1836).
My interest is what was Mary's surname, was she or her parents a Fleetwood?
There are no Fleetwoods on the Willats side of the family. They were involved in the Timber trade and shipbuilding. Charles died in Spittlefields and was buried at Bunhill Fields Burial Ground, Hoxton, London as a dissenter. A descendant was a patron to Mary Shelley.
