Spouse - Unmarried, no in-between?

I would like to or have my missus create a profile to connect with me. However, due to legal obligations I can not it seems claim she is my spouse despite being together for closing in on 15 years and having three children.

If I click on unmarried will more options come up to help me with adding a partner?

Hi, I've read your page and your G2g posts, I hope things work out quickly for you, and that you find the answers.  So for your adding spouse.  when you are on your main profile page (the one on the top right first column where it says.."My Wikitree" scroll over it, you will see Navigate Home Page, and under that is Profile. Click on that one. Once there you should see tabs at the top of the page. One of those is Edit.  click it, then on the right side going down the side of the page is parents, siblings, Spouse.. (here you will see add/ delete) click this and it will allow you to add your spouse and create her page.  any questions or difficulties, pop back in here and if I'm not around, someone else will surely help

I apologise it wasn't clear what I was asking other than title.

I wondered if there is or will ever be a option to have for a partner (female).

We aren't legally connected in any way other than our children and living together. With my issue explained in Biography in profile I feel due to legal terminology I can not link her on this site, which at some point I would love too.

Thanks for your answer though, I do feel there was a bit of misunderstanding again apologies.
ooh, sorry, I wasn't thinking, ok they haven't set up for the non-married spouses yet. But what you can do, is just create a new profile set hers up. then grab her link number and name from her profile and add it to you bio, this will link her and the children to you if that is what you want. It will be like a reference link between your pages.

this is yours that you would add into her bio [[Foster-22622 | Anonymous Foster]]

then when children are added on her page, you would take your link number and use it for the "existing parent/father" that way the kids link to both you and her. this is what you use in the "existing parent" box when creating a child

Foster-22622.

make sure hers and your childrens are locked since they are living

Anon, I know this subject has come up before in G2G, and I don't think there has ever been universal agreement on how to handle it.  But there is no in-between.  You may, of course, create a profile for your missus without designating her as your spouse, and the system does permit you to show you and the missus as parents of your children without being married.  But it's a good idea to explain the situation in the appropriate biographies.  If you're interested in seeing various opinions on the subject, take a look at the Related Questions below your post, or check this Help File page and some of the links:
