Are there mentors that can work with newbies to Wikitree?

Question

I have done a few things here on wikitree and would like to do more but I feel so lost. I think I would benefit from having one mentor whom I can get to know while asking questions and who could keep encouraging me to stay working on my tree while learning to do the volunteering with other projects. Is there anyone who would like to do this with/for me? Thanks.

Welcome to Wikitree! My advice is to use, use, use. You will learn as you go and you will learn a lot, especially G2G!

You can check out the list of over 25 Mentors by going to the upper right of this page and clicking on Help.

Take the Help menu down to where it says Mentors. There are descriptions of each mentors area of concentration.

Good question Jackie. Reaching out to a mentor is a great way to learn about WikiTree. As well, you can always ask questions here on the G2G forum, lots of folks are willing to help out. Ask as many questions as you like. You’ll often get an answer right away.
