This is as certain as i have gotten.Margaret Bayly not Bayley married Captain

Richard Townsend.Early Virginia immigrants 1623-1666.This will give you a start.

Your best bet check early settlers Jamestown Va.But be warned,some of these

records are mixed up.

I have William on the second ship to America as Lord Somers solicitor. He survived the massacre but I'm missing the next two or three generations.frustrating.

Oh, btw, it was Hayley until the moved to Tennessee and Kentucky. By the revolution it had become Bailey and remained like that.

Hope you meant Bayley, otherwise I'm lost. And there was no official spelling so we all waste our time arguing about variations.  It's unfortunate that WT IDs are keyed to spelling.
