Beulah Dakin - conflation

Question

There are two Beulah Dakins wrapped up in this one profile.  Beulah Dakin b Mar 22 1745 in Concord to Samuel and Mary and Buelah Deakin b Mar 22 1735 in Sudbury to Samuel and Mercy.

That's quite a coincidence, exactly 10 years apart and with parents names that are almost identical.  Yet, it is unlikely that as 10 year old would marry Thomas Baker in 1755.  I'm not going to touch this, but I am going to call attention to it.

It appears that the two records you linked are for the same person and the first has a typo on the year of birth.  The 1745 is probably supposed to be 1735.  If both records are for the same person and there is a typo, then the problem is that the profile has the year of birth based on the wrong date and should be 10 years earlier.  A marriage in 1755 when she was 20 years old sounds about right.

I've added the second source and a research notes section with these comments.  I'll leave a profile comment encouraging the PM to update the year of birth.

Sudbury and Concord are only about 6 miles apart.  Back in the 18th century the two were probably synonymous.  This lends further credence to the idea that the two records are for one person.
