WHAT happens to "living" profiles when PM dies or "goes inactive' long term?

So far as I can recall, "Living" profiles are obliterated if the PM dies or "goes inactive" for some unspecified long period of time.  I am talking about the Black Padlock ones.

Was contacted by a newbie who is also a cousin 3C2R and so far 99% her contributions are "Living". And yes, she could live to be 100, but ... Granted, she's 20 yrs give or take younger than I am, but still ...

And I'd like to make her aware of this "obliteration" situation

If the private profiles have another user on the Trusted List, that user becomes the PM.

For all the profiles without another member on the trusted list, they get deleted unless the user has told us what to do with them. You can see more info at https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Advance_Directive
