How long before registering for the 2020 Scan-a-Thon??? [closed]

Question

Just wondering how long it takes before officially being registered for the 2020 Scan-a-Thon?

It's been about 3-4 weeks since my first answer to register, 1 more answer about a week or more afterwards and a PM to one of the organizers about a week ago, but to no avail.

I really don't want to upset anyone with this question... :-((

Once you post an answer in the sign-up thread, that should be it! If you chose a team you may get a greeting to confirm, but you may not. If you chose the Mid-Atlantic Team, I apologize for not confirming, but I do check. If you haven't chosen a team yet, they are here:

Normally, the captains keep track of their team members and add them to the free space for the team. Behind the scenes the organizers will assign everyone to a team if they have not chosen one before event starts. I'm going to go look through the thread now to confirm your answer is there.

Well this IS embarrassing. I found the discussion (which I took part in) calling me out for not updating the team free space! I can see your confusion. You do not have to stay with the Mid-Atlantic Team of course, but we'd love to have you for the Scan-A-Thon.

I definitely want to join in still for the Scan-a-Thon please...

I'll stick with the Mid Atlantic team since they, primarily, best fit the regions of my family (for the most part).

I had also noticed so many individuals who signed up for the Scan-a-Thon had their entries confirmed via the Scan-a-Thon Badge.

Why, after my answer on the Scan-a-Thon announcement thread posted a Month +/- ago, I had not received a Badge yet?

Lucy was excellent in providing assistance with getting the team accomplished and I just noticed that the Scan-a-Thon badge was recently added as well.
