I have read through the DNA pages, but I guess I just don’t have my head wrapped around DNA confirmations yet. Would someone please look at the two files below and please help me fix what is wrong. I have a couple of these 313 errors and a 213. Thank you!

Hi Missy,

For the 2nd suggestion that you provided (213 - Missing fathers DNA confirmation), reviewing that particular profile's change log, it appears that you have recently fixed this one. It appears that when the weekly suggestion reports were run earlier this week, the paternal relationship status was set to "confirmed with DNA", but there was no "paternal" confirmation statement in the profile (it appears that there was a single "maternal" confirmation statement at that time). Since that time, you appear to have edited the profile to add 2 more "maternal" confirmation statements and updated one of the three to be a "paternal" confirmation statement.

For the 1st suggestion that you provided (313 - Missing mothers DNA confirmation), viewing that particular profile, there no longer appears to be a problem with that particular suggestion (there appears to be a "maternal" confirmation statement present in the profile). Due to the profile's privacy settings, I can't review the profile's change log. It appears from your activity feed, that you updated that profile recently, too. So that suggestion may have also been fixed since the weekly suggestion reports were run earlier this week.

If that's the case, you may want to mark the suggestions as "corrected", including an appropriate comment, and then check the report next week to verify that the suggestions have been fixed.

Thank you so much, Rick. I kept thinking I was doing it incorrectly/not fixing the errors at all. wink So the suggestion reports are only run once a week? They do not refresh once a correction is made?

Yes, about once per week. But you can update the status on a particular suggestion. If you update to "Corrected" and refresh the suggestion list that suggestion will be hidden until the next week's report is run. And if truly corrected, it won't show up on the next week's report.
